Certificates Have Arrived!

Hey there folks!

We hope you're enjoying the rest of your week and are excited for the weekend! It's a big rainy day here at Wraithmarked HQ; I think I can speak for everyone at the office when I say today is perfect cozy reading weather, snuggled under a blanket, and sipping a hot drink. 

Onto the news! To reiterate from our last update HERE, the certificates of authenticity have FINALLY ARRIVED to the manufacturer! Holy MOLY. We were holding our collective breath for what seemed like forever. 

As soon as we received confirmation that those arrived, we also received a video of what the final assembly would look like. Take a look below to check out the placement for the certificates!

There will be a lot of certificates to place, so while that's being sorted, we're working on the final revisions to the shipping plan so these may be distributed properly between the two warehouses. Once that's set and the Saphira boxes are palletized, they'll be freighted to each warehouse (located in the US and the UK). 

At this point in time, we've been told that the Saphiras are expected to be on a ship set to freight around mid November! During this time, as mentioned previously, please be aware that the content of updates won't be as gripping due to the nature of this stage in production. We'll of course keep you folks up to date when final assembly is complete and these are officially on a ship for freight!

MPC Unboxing and Approval! And... an Upcoming Wraithmarked Campaign!

Hey there everyone!

As mentioned in the past few updates, while we're in the tail-end of the production phase, there will be less to share. Currently, we're still waiting for the certificates to arrive at the manufacturer; weather delayed the freight by two weeks, so the new estimate for arrival in port is later this week. From there, the certificates will be transported to the factory where they can be inserted in each of the boxes!

That being said, we have something VERY exciting to share today - the Mass Production Copy (aka the MPC)!

THE MODEL

As we mention in the video above, this unboxing will be exactly how Saphira will arrive to you folks, foam spacers and all for extra protection (we confirmed with the manufacturer since we got her in)!

This MPC really wowed us. Such a long time coming, but worth it! 

And for those curious, she passes the Dairy Queen test.

THE BUST

The bust will be shipping separately from the main figure, and just like the main Saphira statue, this will be the same unboxing experience you folks can expect!

We hope you folks are as excited as we are! The next step is confirmation of the certificates arriving in port and assembled with the final boxes. 

As this campaign is a bit delayed (this is our first time producing a product like this to this scale - get it? SCALE... sorry), we're looking into other modes of freighting/transporting these figures to us. We very well may stick with ocean freight travel, but we just wanted you folks to be aware that we're trying to get these out and in your hands as safely and as best as we can.

Despite us looking into other freighting options, we're still anticipating any fulfillment estimate conservatively. Based off of our current shipping estimates from the distributor, we'd begin fulfilling this campaign in December of this year and finish before the Eragon box set, which is loosely scheduled to launch in February!

We've had SO many people requesting Frankenstein after we began doing the Classics. Well, the wait is nearly over! Check out the pre-launch page for the campaign HERE! 

This project truly is a labor of love and one very close to our hearts (somebody stop me). We hope to do this beloved tale justice!

Production Update! Full Steam Ahead!

Hi there everyone!

Following up on our last update HERE, we've officially resolved the bent sword concern we had regarding Eragon's sword! The plastic tray has been deepened slightly and small inserted buffer has been placed between the sword and Saphira's wing, reducing the chances of any bending. There's always a chance a sword arrives bent, in which case applying a gently heat and pressure will fix it no problem! If that happens, we'll be providing a video instruction on how to correct that at home!

This means we've also approved the plastic trays for the interior, so those have begun mass production as well! Meaning... everything is officially in production! Rest assured, Saphira, the bust, the coin, and Eragon have been in production, but this final piece of the puzzle completes the job!

We're going to try and get some more pictures of production for you guys, but in the interim, check out more pics and videos from the factory testing out the plastic trays!

Lastly, the Certificates of Authenticity are estimated to arrive in the port of Shenzhen around the first or second week of September. Due to the nature of freight shipping, exact estimates aren't possible (nor do shipping companies provide that information easily, we found >.<). We've been tracking the certificates like a hawk to ensure they make it safe and sound to the factory!

Because this is such an important piece of this campaign, we'll let you folks know when they arrive!

EDIT: SO WHEN IS IT FULFILLING?

At this time, the best we can answer with is: We *think* it would take another disaster to keep fulfillment from starting (hopefully even finishing) before the end of the year.

Please know that's not being coy about an estimated date. It's being careful about communicating information we don't have.

That may be weird and frustrating to many of you, but it's just genuine transparency. The factory still needs to finish production and hand-assemble the final units, and their range of when that finishes is still wide. Add that to freighting, potential customs and tariff delays, and fulfilling 13,000 units, and we're still not locking a date in just yet.

Giving you a date we cannot confidently make would just be us lying to you. We have a wide projected fulfillment zone here, and as some pointed out those zones have been missed in the past because of an issue with production. So we aren't giving a date until we have a much firmer understanding of timelines.

AN IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT UPCOMING UPDATES!

Hey yall! Bryce here with an important note for everyone!

Now that we're officially just waiting for production to complete, Updates until will likely be very sparse in nature until we have the statues and are fulfilling them. We'll let you know when we have our final production sample, as well as when they ship to us (and obviously if there are any issues along the way). However, there's (hopefully) nothing really left to keep you guys updated on, and there's a LOT of units to produce and put together, so we may be looking at months of light Updates. You'll still get them just so you know we're on top of things, but there's a possibility more than one could just be "Still waiting! No news is good news!"

Hey there, everyone!

We hope you're having a good week! If you're in Canada or the north/north eastern region of the US, please be safe and be careful going outside! Be sure to have a mask handy and stay extra hydrated.

We've got a few things to address in this update, so let's get into it!

First off, we received samples of the foam tray and interior packaging!

These samples were sent to us after production on the statues/coins/etc. began. These pieces of the interior can be tweaked to fit our needs at any time, hence why we're ironing out a few of those details now. Take a look!

Second up, a slight change to the Eragon figure!

Following up on the interior supports, we noticed a minor concern regarding Eragon. Take a look below!

We noticed this after receiving everything packed together. For those who can't quite tell, the sword is bent slightly. This is due to the weight/shape of the wing protecting him; ironically, she is also crushing his sword. We have since requested changes to ensure this doesn't happen when you receive your product (including lowering the particular section of plastic he sits in, as well as including a small padding between him and Saphira's wing). 

If the sword (or any other part) arrives bent, it’s very easily fixable. Thankfully, PVC is a very pliable material and can be fixed with a little bit of heat. We will provide instructions on how to properly do this yourself at home, just in case!

In addition, it's taken several weeks to officially nail down an address due to taxes and customs, but the certificates are now packed and ready to be freighted to the manufacturer! There's apparently a lot more that goes into sending nearly 30 25lb (~11.4kg) packages to the other side of the planet!
